Here's some more pictures of our July 9, 2011 ride to Shaniko, Oregon.
We went looking for the obscure town of Harmony, Oregon. Just North of Moro on
SR 97, you go East on Monkland Lane. Had a County street map... followed it to the
center of downtown Harmony, which turned out to be a dirt road in the middle of
nowhere. There's a home close to where the road changes from asphalt to dirt...
I think George and Lilly Harmony live there....oh well.. sometimes you find something
interesting and sometimes you wind up taking a ride to uninhabited boondocks.
You do get to see a lot of pastural scenes out here in the country though. Much
more to my liking than looking out my window in the big city to see nothing but
wall-to-wall yuppie scum commies.
Meanwhile, back in Shaniko.....
