I was out to the Ghost Town of Shaniko, Oregon in
2011,
2012,
2013,
2014,
2014 and
2014.
GETTING THERE: I-84 to The Dalles. SR 197 south. The Boyd Loop road is on
the left.
It was a gorgeous Winter day. Chilly starting out but got warmer and very sunny
by the time we got to Boyd, Oregon. A nice, warm, clear dry bluebird day.
First stop was at the Ghost Town of Boyd, Oregon where we did a scouting mission
in 2013. Here's pictures of our 2014 visit to

There is no sign but the cemetery is easy to find. Just up on a hill right off
SR 197 about half way between Boyd and Dufur.
