Forest Road 83 is FINALLY open all the way to Lava Canyon. And it's only July!
A nice, warm, sunny day (for a change). Julie took Friday off so we didn't want to
waste it just hanging around. Nice ride along my traditional route of Carson, McClellan
and into Cougar. Came home express via Woodland though.

Suzy's always happy when she gets to go riding and Harley stays home.
Finally made it to Ape Canyon.. got a LOT of snow this year so all the roads out
this way are just opening. In fact, you STILL can't get up to Windy Ridge.
And of course the obligatory Mount Saint Helens pics from the McClellan viewpoint.
Not the biggest waterfall we've seen but still... refreshing....
There's supposed to be some good, scenic hikes out June Lake way. Returning
to do a few (soon) is definitely on the radar.
