Return to Lava Canyon. <- Pics of last year's
(7/24/2010) ride.
I was just up this way a couple of weeks ago. Still deep snow
up here then.
A gorgeous, sunny, 80 degrees day (for a change)... but.....
The road to Lava Canyon (and FR 25 to Windy Ridge) is still closed due to deep snow :(
Returned to
Lava Canyon on July 1, 2011. The road just opened!

Had a nice lunch at the Lone Fir restaurant
This is where Hikers planning on going to the rim (summit) of Mount Saint Helens register.
I'll add pictures to this page the next time we return, assuming that the road is open then.
