American Independence Day, 2012
It was a perfect bluebird day. Wonderful views, especially going over Bakeoven Road
and along Highway 97. There are a lot of mountan tops to look at on this ride!
Kent, Oregon wasn't exactly the Ghost Town I was expecting. Yep, there are
a lot of derelict buildings in Kent that indicate that it was once a thriving
little Burb. But there is still a small community of about a dozen houses here.
I talked to a few of them and they seem like nice people. And not one Obama sticker
to be seen!

The Post Office is still open for business (at least for now).
This structure used to contain a generator that provided power to the gas station
